Reshoots for Avengers 4 are well on their way and we’ve got leaked set photos to stir the pot of theories.
The photos are courtesy of JustJared and feature the return of Captain America and Black Widow, both sporting new looks. As well as Ant-Man who seems to have escaped the Quantum Realm.

We’ve seen other leaked set photos from the Avengers 4 principal photography but what makes these new ones special is what Mark Ruffalo had to say about the reshoots. Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, revealed during an episode of The Marvelist podcast that they’re not back for ordinary reshoots – they’re back to finish the movie. Here’s what he had to say:
“Well we’re doing reshoots starting in September,” Ruffalo said. “And then we’ll go back into the international tour, we’ll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don’t even know what it’s gonna be yet. We’re not just doing reshoots, we’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year.”
Mark is not great at keeping trade secrets. The rest of the Avengers cast outed him and Tom Holland (Spider-Man) as the worst when it comes to keeping the lid shut. But aside from these leaked set photos and a subreddit that summarized the entire plot of Avengers 4, we can’t confirm anything until the movie hits theatres on May 3, 2019.
